Beach/Pool Bags from Haiti
These are made from donated fabric, which Stop Hunger Now helped us get to the women by shipping the fabric in a container with their food that was going to Pastor Leon Dorleans' schools. The artisans work in a sewing coop in the school's vocational program. Mor Aframian, co-founder of ReDress Raleigh, went to Haiti in January and worked with these women and actually helped them design this beach bag, which is fully lined and features lots of pockets inside and out. It's quite a good story that we're proud to share - fabric being donated here in NC, shipped by
Stop Hunger Now, designed with the help of a NCSU graduate student, and now being sold back here in NC!
